TitleBells in Play: Thompson Chapel bells are rung by hand by a group of student bell-ringers.
DescriptionThe nine stationary bells, spanning an octave plus one note from E flat to F, are used by the bell-ringers to play a variety of musical selections, from "The Mountains" to "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Sean Pegado '11 interviews Adam Bamasiak '08 while carillonneur William Slack '11 performs from the bell tower. Inspired by Rob White, Director of Alumni Communications, and his summer 2005 Williams Alumni Review article "Batty in the Belfry."
