Computer Assisted Exercises for Katakana Dictation
The Katakana collection is a learning tool for students studying the Katakana. Itís a collection of movies depicting the correct method for drawing and pronouncing Katakana, and is searchable both by the word and the features of the word (long vowel, particle, etc.). Its target is both the beginning student as a reference, and the advanced student searching for particular examples. Developed by Reiko Yamada with the Williams Japanese faculty and the Vassar Williams Mellon Consortium, in collaboration with Mika Hirai and Jonathan Leamon.
